In the light, the surface unfolds a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, the structure and depth change, individual layers become more pronounced. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, and lingering.

Frequency COPPER on SILVER is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency COPPER on SILVER
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various scrapers. The pigments form elevations and overlays with a calm, pulsating tension.
Only materials of the highest quality are used: all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide carrying frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were captured under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placement under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the works appear vibrant.
