The cross displays a beautiful natural green and brown patina developed over many years, together with authentic signs of age and oxidation that enhance its historical character. The decorative relief work remains clearly visible despite centuries of use and natural wear.
Likely cast in bronze using traditional techniques, this cross was intended as a religious devotional object and today represents an excellent example of historical Christian metalwork.
