It depicts, as is sometimes the case with Orientalist painters, a view of the French coastlines. The artist is a noted one, a friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel, two laureates of the Ab El tif prize for Orientalist painting in Algiers. Sold in a modern frame provided with the work.
