Bruno Retaux (1947) - Bateaux en mer

Oil on panel measuring 22 x 27 cm, signed at the lower left, B Retaux, and bearing on the back the studio stamp as well as an inventory number. It represents, as is sometimes the case with Orientalist painters, a view of the French coast. The artist is listed as a friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel, two winners of the Ab El Tif prize for Orientalist painting in Algiers. Sold in a modern frame provided with the work.
