MiLo, Untethered Bloom - XXL, an acrylic painting on canvas in abstract style, 150 cm high by 125 cm wide, created in 2026, original edition, hand signed, in excellent condition, from the Netherlands.
Description from the seller
MiLo (1976), Netherlands
Title: Untethered Bloom
A contemporary botanical abstraction in which dark, expressive blooms appear to float across a luminous off-white surface. Rather than depicting flowers rooted in a landscape, the composition explores movement, balance and negative space, allowing each form to exist almost independently while remaining connected through rhythm and gesture.
Created with acrylic on canvas, the painting combines bold black forms with energetic splashes and fluid stems, resulting in a composition that feels both spontaneous and carefully balanced. The contrast between the deep, textured blooms and the quiet background gives the work a striking graphic quality while preserving a sense of lightness and openness.
Part of MiLo’s ongoing exploration of simplified organic forms, this piece balances abstraction and nature without becoming descriptive. It invites viewers to interpret the composition freely—whether as flowers, seeds, silhouettes or simply an arrangement of rhythm and form.
