"Roots"
Each single creation is a unique piece handcrafted with delicacy and feeling.
The sculpture was modeled in clay and fired in a professional kiln, subsequently patinated cold.
In the porosity and in the imperfections of the terracotta and the pigments used, lies the beauty of this material.
The travertine pedestals are for demonstrative purposes only.
Shipping will be carried out carefully.
All works are hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Techniques:
Sculpture: Patinated Terracotta
Sphere: Brass
Nicole Furlan, born in 1991, attended the Academy of Art and Photography. Always in search of inspiration to grow.
Raised in the Tuscan countryside,
she rediscovers in the small things the charm of simplicity and reinterprets it through the material, thus allowing an open dialogue with her subconscious.
For several years she has had the opportunity to create a connection between sculpture (soul) and human in her Atelier/Laboratory in Pitigliano, a small village of Etruscan origins.
A new, delicate formula, of deep connections.
In 2020 she decided to return to open countryside to be able to focus even more on the self and on what she wants to express.
