The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that the surface is less susceptible to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can be handled without fear, to feel the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold in the hand, without worrying about damaging the bar or affecting it with fingerprints. Cast bars inherently have rounded edges and small solidification lines due to the manufacturing process. This makes each Au bar a unique piece.

On the top side, the small 10 g bars bear the Au Recycling gold logo, on the bottom side the ESG logo with all legally required designations for investment gold (10 g, Gold, 999.9), as well as the Melter Assayer stamp of the LBMA-certified German bar producer.
