My works arise from an intuitive process in which color, form and space condense into their own visual language. The starting points are sketches, architectural structures or individual color fields. In the course of the painting process, compositions are overlaid, altered and renegotiated until a balance between clarity and openness emerges.
Architecture plays a central role. Buildings, facades and geometric shapes become carriers of inner states, memories and atmospheres. The pictures move between figuration and abstraction and open up spaces for personal associations.
“OBSERVER” is part of this ongoing series of works.
Each work is a unique piece, signed and dated on the back. A certificate of authenticity is included.
