Silver-plated metal drop earrings, total weight 28 g, with a black cabochon top stone and large baroque cultured pearls as pendants, in an Antique Greek style from Italy, model drop earrings, no laboratory report, condition as new.
Description from the seller
Type: Large drop earrings (drop earring model).
Style: Contemporary, organic, tactile. The design plays on a strong color and texture contrast ("Yin and Yang"): the absolute black, smooth upper stone contrasts with the irregular, iridescent surface of the lower baroque pearl.
Upper element (Lobe): Black hard stone cabochon (very likely black onyx) in an irregular cushion/scutiform cut, with a smooth and glossy surface.
Lower pendant element: Large cultured baroque pearls (scaramazza), characterized by a beautiful sculptural teardrop shape and a very rich orient (iridescence), with silvery and pinkish reflections.
Setting: Made in silvered metal (presumably 925 silver). A sinuous setting with a "fluid wire" lines gently wraps both the upper black stones and the lower pearls, creating perfect aesthetic and structural continuity.
Closure: Post with butterfly (post & butterfly), ideal for supporting earrings of this size and weight directly on the lobe.
