Description from the seller

Devotional wall shrine with Madonna and Child
France (attributed), early 20th century | Neogothic style

Suggestive wall-mounted devotional shrine in carved and painted wood, attributed to French production from the early 20th century, realized in an elegant neogothic style.

The structure, finely worked with ogival arches, spires and pierced motifs, is embellished with opening doors decorated with gilded piping. At the center it houses a delicate depiction of the Madonna and Child, painted with a warm-toned palette and enriched by refined details, intended for private devotion.
