Michel DUBOIS was born in 1953
His passion for drawing led him to attend evening classes at the Beaux-Arts in Valenciennes in the 1970s. After studying science, he returned to Normandy where he began painting under the Norman painter Pierre LAMBERT and quickly became a “pillar” of the artistic association of his town of Montivilliers, of which he is currently the president.
When he places his easel outdoors, he expresses himself in watercolor and gouache with a spontaneous touch supported by a very confident drawing.
His studio work allows him to express himself in oil through luminous creations that reach hyperrealist precision.
He invites you into a world that is often nostalgic, making you love the wear of time that passes on the familiar world around us.
