Beautiful pair of English brass candlesticks – 18th/19th century – Hand-turned

An elegant and authentic pair of English brass candlesticks, made from solid brass and hand-turned. The two candlesticks vary in height but together form a particularly decorative and atmospherically appealing ensemble. Their classic proportions and warm golden glow make them timeless objects that fit wonderfully in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

The candlesticks are characterized by their refined baluster profile, broad stable foot, and artisanal finish. The undersides are numbered, a common marking on historic English candlesticks made as a matched pair.

Over the centuries, both candlesticks have developed a beautiful natural patina. They are in a lovely antique condition with normal signs of use and age, including slight wear, oxidation, and small irregularities that befit their age.
