The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that the surface is less susceptible to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can confidently be handled to weigh the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold in the hand, without fear of damaging the bar or affecting it with fingerprints. Cast bars, due to the manufacturing process, have rounded edges and small solidification lines. This makes every Au bar a one-of-a-kind piece.
