Small 10g fine gold bars as cast bars are a real rarity, as in this size almost only minted gold bars are offered.
The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars, compared to minted bars, have the advantage that their surface is less susceptible to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can safely be handled to feel the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold in the hand, without fear of damaging the bar or leaving fingerprints. Cast bars have rounded edges and small solidification lines by design. This makes every gold bar a unique piece.
