About the artist:
Hailing from Southern Finistère, Frédéric CADIOU draws on Breton landscapes for an inspiration that is deeply rooted in light and the horizon. His works capture suspended moments where nature communicates with human perception. Cast shadows, elongated lines, minimalist compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism. Through a controlled palette and pronounced contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres. The gaze is guided toward the horizon, between silence, space, and contemplation. A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language.
His current Akoun appraisal, updated in 2026, is €1,350 for a 15P format (65x50 cm).
In June 2026, he was selected to represent Artmajeur at the Vivatech 2026 fair, Europe’s largest innovation show, in Paris.
