About the artist:
Robbie McIntosh is an Italian photographer based in Naples. He fell into photography in his teens and has never looked back since, as he puts it. His credo: "enjoy life and take it as it comes." He particularly enjoys photographing Sunday bathers on Naples’ beaches, "celebrating the human body." But a raw body; for him, not sculpted or perfect mannequin bodies, but the bodies of ordinary people, with their wrinkles or extra kilos. His style recalls Martin Parr. Very popular on Instagram, he has won several awards for his photos: in 2023, he won the Fokus Awards in the main category around the theme of the contest "things change" and received an honorable mention at the Corigliano Calabro Photography Festival 2023.
