Dietro le quinte, a 2011 Italian contemporary oil and mixed-media painting by the artist, 40 × 55 cm, signed by hand, original edition, sold with frame directly from the artist, with a certificate on the back.
Description from the seller
The painting captures the backstage of grace: the dancer on the floor with her pointe shoes untied is the moment of fragility, fatigue, and loneliness after the exertion. The white tutu illuminated in the empty gray becomes a metaphor for the sacrifice of art, the beauty that remains luminous even in the shadow. In recent years my artistic research has focused on merging three different shades of realism, giving birth to a personal and innovative style. Within the works the themes of contemporary living intertwine and blend, sometimes evoking the suspended atmospheres of Metaphysical painting. Technical and authenticity notes: The painting is finished with a thin white perimetral border, designed to allow the work to be displayed both unframed (daylight) and with a classic mounting. The authenticity of the work is guaranteed by a certificate personally signed by me on the back of the canvas. Among the artist's accolades is a historical review signed by Maestro Federico Fellini (Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1993).
