Antique classic kerosene lamp / petroleum lamp – about 52 cm tall
Beautiful large antique kerosene lamp (petroleum lamp/oil lamp) with an elegant appearance. This classic lamp consists of a tin base and reservoir with a tall glass chimney and forms a fine decorative centerpiece in a classic or country interior. The wick moves up and down smoothly.

Height without glass: approx. 52 cm
Glass height: approx. 30 cm
Top: approx. 45 × 45 cm
Diameter of base: approx. 12 cm

Condition
The lamp is in good antique condition. At a later moment it appears a repair was carried out in which the base and the reservoir (the “belly”) have been firmly joined together. This is visible in the photos. Tin is in good condition with only a few small scratches and stains. Additionally, the glass has a partly unreadable inscription/marking on the glass.
A atmospheric and decorative collectible object that is a good example of lighting from the time before electricity.
