Narcis Teodoreanu Tiberra - CLOWN con IL SORISOMETRO

"CLOWN con SORISOMETRO" is part of a new series of sculptures from the group of sculptors with the theme "Circus". As in other sculptures, I have kept the idea of balance as an essential element in these works, regardless of the type of characters. In this sculpture, there is a bizarre object of my invention called the "SORISOMETRO", a machine to measure smiles. It is obviously a metaphor and an urgency of joy and cheer in this world that wants to be sad.

The expression of movement, the harmony of proportions and shapes in the composition, as well as the harmony of the empty spaces that the sculpture develops, are important to me.

The sculpture is made of metal, painted with acrylic colors and varnished. On the surface, brush marks are visible. The work is handmade.

The sculpture will be accompanied by an artist’s warranty certificate. The sculptor is a professional artist (see Mondadori Arte Moderna Catalog no. 58/2022) with a long career in the field of artistic creation, with numerous exhibitions and national and international fairs (solo shows – Bucharest, Bad Homburg, Imola, Bologna, Art Fairs – Karlsruhe 2006, Ghent 2006, KIC Nord Art Carlhütte 2008, Padua 2021, Padua 2022, Parma 2024, Biennale of Sacred Contemporary Art, Menton, France, Parma Art Fair 2023, Monte Carlo Art Fair August 2023).

The sculpture will be packed in two boxes, separated by protective padding, to avoid damage during transport.

The shipping price also includes the cost of packaging, which is made to order and according to the shape of the work.
