For sale. Chess pieces from the U.S.S.R. in a wooden chess box

Conditions:
The chess pieces are in good and complete condition. They are Russian matryoshka dolls. Most are equipped with felt. Some pieces are missing a bit of paint, but overall a nice patina. The chess pieces come in a wooden box that also serves as a chessboard. The outside of the board is somewhat damaged at the sides, see the last photo. The varnish has also developed some craquelure over time. All in all a very beautiful set with a lot of character. The set has been played with a lot.

All items originate from roughly 1970–1980 from Russia (U.S.S.R.)
