Description from the seller
Lalique, sculpture “Cheval Kazak,” in colorless satin and polished crystal
An elegant animal sculpture in colorless satin and polished crystal, depicting a Kazakh horse, caught in a gesture of momentum and tension perfectly controlled. Standing in a proud and dynamic bearing, the animal unfolds a powerful silhouette, with full and taut volumes, subtly softened by the satin finish of the crystal. The mane and tail, finely stylized, animate the composition and reinforce the impression of breath, freedom and nobility.
All the strength of this creation lies in the contrast between the satin surfaces, which gently shape the body, and the transparent parts, which bring light, depth and purity to the whole. The base, sober and clear, underlines the sculptural presence of the piece and highlights the signature of the Lalique Paris house.
Symbol of power, elegance and movement, this rearing Kazakh horse fully illustrates the refinement of Lalique’s bestiary and the technical mastery of the house in the art of sculpted crystal.
A tiny, invisible sparkle when exhibited.
