Hand-blown glass, smoky tint signed Daum-Nancy, Art Nouveau period, Nancy School
Nancy School – Early 20th century
Rare and elegant glass liqueur service, comprising a central carafe and six matching glasses, created by the prestigious Daum Nancy house, a leading figure of the Nancy School and the French Art Nouveau movement.
The set stands out for the purity of its lines, the finesse of the blown glass and its subtle smoky tint with amber reflections, characteristic of certain Daum productions from the early 20th century. The slender silhouettes of the glasses, with their legs delicately stretched, harmonize with the generous, sculptural volumes of the carafe, creating a ensemble that is both sober and refined.
