The box is contemporaneous for all watches from the late 50s to the late 60s, certainly for all models with a four-digit reference, knowing that Rolex began placing the code on the boxes only in 1970/71.
It is a box about 66 years old, difficult to find in good condition.
The hinges are without a snap and work perfectly, even after an estimated 66 years of life.
In short, the box is beautiful and in good usable condition, as can be seen from the photos that are an integral part of the description.
