My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can completely immerse myself in my colors, forms and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe, I was able to collect many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasies. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interspaces that often can only be expressed through color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process, in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 100 cm you need a canvas frame sized 150 x 90 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can either stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery.
