Description from the seller
Hello and thankyou for viewing my work. I am a British sculptor whose work blends contemporary design with the timeless presence of natural materials. I have sculptures included for sale in the Saatchi online art gallery. My unique pieces are defined by clean lines, organic forms, and a deep respect for the raw character of each stone. I create expressive sculptures that explore balance, texture, and movement. Each piece is completely unique, hand signed and has a certificate of authenticity.
The form rises from its base in a smooth, upward sweep, as if pulled gently toward light. Its surface is carved with subtle arcs, echoing the sun’s radiance: not literal rays, but soft, expanding curves that seem to breathe outward. The limestone itself is silky smooth with no inclusions — pale, warm, and very smooth — holds a natural luminosity, catching daylight in a way that makes the sculpture feel almost sun‑charged.
On the back the sun's rays are represented by different, meaningful radiating lines etched into the surface.
At the centre, a circular void suggests the sun not as an object, but as an enduring force. The piece feels still, yet never static — its geometry hinting at cycles, orbits, and the endless return of day.
Standing before it, you sense both permanence and motion. The sculpture becomes a marker of infinite time: the sun’s steady rhythm, the stone’s ancient memory, and the human impulse to capture something eternal in a single, carved moment.
