Description from the seller
Canvas Panel, torn posters, aerosol, acrylic, Posca, unframed, 30x24cm
Unique work on paper, fresh from the studio. Fast and protected shipping.
Lasveguix does not just paint; he tears, layers, reconstructs. His creations are skin-like walls, fragments of urbanity where the poster blends with graffiti, where acrylic speaks with aerosol and Posca. Each piece is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he nourishes his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one hears the echo of the great names that marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for poster tearing, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for the urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
Active in the street art scene for over twenty years, Lasveguix has managed to impose a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he transposes this street heritage to the studio, creating works where movement, time and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Recognized for his singularity, he regularly participates in charity galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His works reach record sums there, confirming a unique place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix claims an art that is accessible, free and vibrant, where every torn piece tells a love story and a message of positivity.
