R.Robin - Geometria habitada en rojo (XL)

This work belongs to the series Geometría habitada, a pictorial investigation in which architecture becomes an emotional language. Through a network of repeated geometric houses, the composition constructs an imaginary landscape where order and chaos coexist in balance.

In this piece, the intense red palette dialogues with deep blues, muted greens, and yellow accents that function as trees, lights, or symbolic presences. The result introduces a clearly pop character, without renouncing the gestural nature of painting: drips, transparencies, and brush marks remain visible to remind us of the manual process behind the work.

Each dwelling represents an independent unit that, when gathered with the others, forms a living and changing city. It is a reflection on coexistence, urban memory, and collective identity, where geometric repetition generates rhythm and movement.

The work combines a contemporary language with influences from geometric abstraction and naïve art, giving rise to a vibrant composition with strong visual impact and a bold decorative presence.

About R.Robin

Robinson Rodríguez García is a visual artist, theater designer, and drawing teacher, born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and residing in Spain. He graduated in 2003 from the Provincial Academy of Fine Arts, and develops an artistic practice centered on painting and the contemporary language, where abstraction, geometry, and a strong symbolic charge converge. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught drawing workshops at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech School of Arts Instructors, and between 2006 and 2009 he worked as a costume and set designer for the Provincial Council of Performing Arts of Santa Clara, an experience that decisively influenced his spatial and formal conception within the visual arts.

His work has been shown in several solo exhibitions in Cuba, highlighting presentations at the Provincial Gallery of Art and in institutional spaces in Santa Clara. He has also participated in important group exhibitions and international fairs, including Art Basel Miami, group exhibitions in France, and contemporary art events in the Americas and Europe. In 2017 he participated in art fairs in Mexico. His career is complemented by studies and international workshops related to stage design and visual creation, consolidating a multidisciplinary artistic profile that engages with painting, space, and contemporary symbolic experience.

On preparation and packing:

The work is signed by the artist R. Robin and is accompanied by its corresponding certificate of authenticity, likewise signed. The canvas will be shipped rolled and protected in a professional cardboard tube, ensuring its proper conservation during transport. The shipment will be carried out within a maximum of three business days from the confirmation of purchase, and the delivery time will depend on the chosen courier company.
