Description from the seller
Original sculpture "Charlie /" — Low-Poly style with dripping
Three-dimensional sculpture in a contemporary geometric (low-poly) style, made with mixed polymer techniques on a natural wooden base. It represents the bust of a stylized character, with angular facets and a highly expressive treatment.
The piece is completely covered in vibrant acrylic paint (yellow, blue, pink, red, white and black) applied gesturally, with a pronounced dripping effect that runs across the head, face, and torso, adding dynamism and a strong urban/pop character.
Highlights:
- Faceted head with great volume and expressiveness.
- Black hair or cap with blue and multicolored accents.
- Beige-toned face with a prominent nose and painted details in pink and red.
- Neck and upper torso with a white shirt and details in blue, yellow, and red.
- Circular burnt/darkened wood base with handwritten signature “Charlie” and “Franco” (possibly dual authorship or edition).
- The paint drips continue onto the base, creating visual continuity between the figure and its support.
Style: Contemporary art, with street art, pop, and geometric sculpture influences. Visually reminiscent of artists such as KAWS, Futura, or the universe of low-poly painted sculptures.
Condition: Excellent; colors retain strong vibrancy and the drips are perfectly integrated into the work.
A unique and striking piece, ideal for collectors of contemporary art, modern sculpture, or interiors with character. Perfect as a centerpiece on a shelf, table, or display cabinet.
