Calvo's Inner Noise XL is an acrylic and marker on canvas (87 x 130 cm; 81 x 124 cm framed), signed with a certificate of authenticity, produced in Italy in 2026 as an original edition, featuring three stylised human figures in a neo-expressionist street art style with bold urban symbols and slogans in saturated yellow, blue, red and cream hues.
Description from the seller
Acrylic and Marker on canvas, measures 87 x 130 after framing 81 x 124, signed with certificate of authenticity.
The canvas work features three stylized and expressive human figures that look at each other.
This piece presents itself as a powerful and chaotic visual manifesto in full neo-expressionist and street art style, where acrylic painting blends with the graphic and decisive stroke of markers. The canvas is dominated by a dense layering of deformed faces, multiple gazes, and mouths wide open in liberating or protesting screams, evoking a deep psychological and existential inquiry.
The compositional dynamism is emphasized by a rich vocabulary of urban symbols—arrows, crosses, crowns, and stylized eyes—that surround the figures like floating thoughts. Of particular impact is the integration of gritty textual inscriptions and slogans, such as "Shout your own truth", "Chaos", "Deal with your deeds", and "See the inner core", which transform the painting into a direct dialogue with the viewer. The saturated and contrasting colors (vibrant yellows, intense blues, touches of red and turquoise) emerge strongly on the white background, creating a visual tension that captures the essence of the complexity of the ego and contemporary inner dynamics.
