The basalt sculpture combines the archaic power of natural stone with a precise, contemporary language of form. From the originally left-as-is block, deeply cut, polished hollow forms develop, weaving across several faces and creating a taut interplay of light, shadow, and reflection. The rough natural surface remains as a counterpoint, underscoring the dialogue between unworked material and artisanal intervention. With compact dimensions of 37 × 12 × 12 cm, the work unfolds a surprisingly strong spatial presence and changes its expression with every viewing angle.
