Title: "Crossroads"
Description:
Everyone knows these moments: paths cross, decisions are made, encounters leave their mark. "Crossroads" captures exactly this instant – the moment when different directions, thoughts and energies meet.
The red lines run across the canvas like life paths that approach, intersect and then drift apart again. Some encounters are fleeting, others change our course forever. The black arches act like anchors – powerful moments that provide support or point a new direction.
Despite the apparent disorder, there is its own harmony. Like in life itself, the lines do not follow a straight plan, yet from their interaction a meaningful whole emerges. Each movement influences the next, each crossing tells its own story.
"Crossroads" invites reflection on the people, decisions and coincidences that have shaped our path. For often it is precisely at these interfaces of life where something new begins.

The *cracks in the painting are deliberately intentional*. They are not a sign of damage, but part of the artistic expression. The breaks belong to the surface as scars to the skin: they tell of tension, movement and the very process. It is precisely through these cracks that the work gains depth and authenticity – nothing is smoothed, nothing hidden.
The canvas is delivered rolled up.
Christoph Prein is an Austrian artist known for his abstract and contemporary works, created mainly with acrylic paints. Originally from St. Margarethen near Knittelfeld, Prein’s pieces are often characterized by a minimalist, abstract style and are carefully produced from high-quality materials to ensure vibrant colors and longevity. In his art, he frequently engages themes such as identity, memory and the exploration of human emotions, often pushing the boundaries between the visible and the invisible.
Prein's approach to art is multidimensional, combining painting with elements of sculpture and installation. This unique style has brought him recognition in Austria and internationally, with exhibitions across Europe, North America and Asia. His works often invite the viewer to reflect on the complexities of the modern world and the deeper aspects of the human experience.
For a painting with the dimensions 210 x 120 cm you need a stretched canvas of size 200 x 110 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.
This is a handcrafted original, signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality, fade-resistant acrylic paints have been used on multiple-coated white gallery canvas.
A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
This work is handmade and therefore unique!
--- Authenticity certificate included ---
Beautify your private residence, law firm, practice or office and enhance your premises in an elegant and stylish way.
If a person ventures into his innermost depths, into a sphere that rarely comes to light, into a space that is mysterious and hidden, waiting to be discovered, tickled awake, also painfully supported, then art is born.
