Description from the seller

Two bottles from this highly sought-after Domaine in the Roussillon, run by Japanese people on holiday in France!

Born from the meeting of two Japanese wine lovers of the southern grape variety Grenache, this wine from France is also the fruit of a unique know-how. It must be said that this couple who met in Beaune began their journey within renowned estates such as Burgundian operators Dominique Derain and Frédéric Cossard (of Chassorney). After acquiring a few vineyards in Banyuls, precisely 3.5 hectares, they embarked on a tireless, natural cultivation. Tireless because the land, made up of slate slopes, granite, and white stones, is not machinable.
The work in the cellar follows the same logic. The grapes are vinified as naturally as possible to let the essence of their terroir shine through. They are thus vinified in whole bunches and the indigenous yeasts start fermentation. Extractions are limited and the juices are put into barrels from several wines that won’t imprint on them. Then the wines are put into casks, by gravity as always, and bottled by hand. Sulfur is, of course, banished from the process, allowing the wine to express itself in an energetic, living register. A superb illustration of the natural wine genre, therefore!

Delivery can be rescheduled in case of high heat upon request.

Delivery in Europe, insured parcels.

Bottle intact, kept under ideal conditions.
