Welcome to my lot. As the artist of this work, I offer you this finely realistic oil painting from my own studio.

The painting with a sleeping kitten beside a deep red ball of wool, I with utmost precision and much patience have tried to capture the soft texture of the cat's fur and the three-dimensional depth of the ball of wool as vividly as possible.

I was born in 1965 and mostly paint animal portraits and seascapes. I often use CH van Dijk for my paintings of birds, and my works for seascapes or other animal portraits such as this kitten, often HS Hultman.

The work is housed in a luxurious frame with a linen inner edge. On the frame, there is also a name plaque attached with my own name Lodewijk Busing 1965, referring to my year of birth.

I would like to mention that the painting is actually more beautiful than it appears here in the photo, especially the deep colors are not matched by the photo.
