Description from the seller
German violin bow
Stamped: PAESOLD
Octagonal pernambuco stick.
Silver mounted. Weight 62 gramm.
Aged but fully haired.
The stick is of pernambuco species, round wood, strong, sterling silver mounts with the classic bling eye frog, and solid silver end screw. The bow is in perfect condition and made with a very beautiful, strong piece of Pernambuco wood.
A high-quality bow influences both the sound production, affecting the clarity, and articulation. It will also enhance tone and help the player perform advanced the string articulations.
A 180-degree turn is very necessary if one is looking for a bow that will give one better tone and colour out if an instrument.
In a hard-shell case with cot ton-lined interior.
73cm
Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind
