TITLE: The Song of the River
The landscape transforms into a symphony of shapes and colors.
The course of the water crosses the composition like a living presence, uniting the village, the hills and the sky in a single breath. The black lines, reminiscent of ancient stained glass, fragment the space without interrupting its harmony, allowing each color tile to participate in the story.
The houses gather on the slope in a delicate balance, immersed in the greens of nature and illuminated by an intense palette of blues, purples, turquoises, oranges and yellows.
The fish that inhabit the river are not merely figurative details, but symbols of movement, continuity and rebirth.
The Song of the River invites the viewer to slow their gaze and listen to the landscape: a place where the water becomes memory, rhythm and poetry, and where nature and human work coexist in a suspended vision between reality and imagination.
Looking at the painting, the river is not just an element of the landscape: it is the line that guides the eye from the lower corner to the village and then to the sky. It is as if the “song” is represented exactly by the succession of shapes and chromatic variations, which give the composition a visual rhythm that is almost musical.
