Beautiful and fully authentic vintage porcelain figurine of Misha the Bear (Mishka), the world-famous official mascot of the XXII Olympic Summer Games of 1980 in Moscow. The iconic bear was designed at the time by the renowned children's book illustrator Viktor Chizhikov.
This particular piece is of excellent collector-grade quality and was produced by the renowned Baranovka Porcelain Factory (Baranivka) in the former Ukrainian SSR.
The underside of the figurine bears a very clear, original red factory stamp: The Baranovka logo:
