The painting belongs to a series named "My Neighbor," begun in 2024, where unique and different moments of the lives of the "neighbors" are represented from a voyeuristic perspective.
Through these scenes, I invite the viewer to take the place of a silent observer of the other’s everyday life — someone who witnesses fragments of intimacy, routine or provocation, never to be noticed.

Patrícia Trindade (1989) is a Portuguese artist with a degree in Plastic Arts and a Master of Painting, both from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto. Although she has dedicated over the years to various painting series with different themes, the male figure has become the central element of her work. This has served as the basis for various approaches and narratives—from the objectification of the body, to erotism, to homosexuality and voyeurism—that question the habitual representations of virility and the passivity of genders in iconographic representations.
