Mesa con Flores

In Mesa con Flores, everyday objects are arranged within a vertical, fragmented, and deeply rhythmic composition. The table acts as the central axis of the work, supporting a bouquet, a bottle, and a piece of fruit, while the chair and the architectural forms in the background expand the scene and build a sense of interior domestic space.

The composition develops through the layering of geometric planes, vertical lines, and diagonals that guide the gaze from the lower area to the central bouquet. The white flowers serve as a visual focal point and bring an organic form that contrasts with the angular structure of the table, the chair, and the objects. Perspective is deliberately fragmented, allowing each element to be observed from different viewpoints within a single image.

Blue dominates the painted surface and creates an enveloping atmosphere.
