Description

Beautiful and varied collection mainly of copper and brass utilitarian and decorative objects, complemented by a blue-and-white ceramic vase and a large lot of old copper coins in a fabric pouch. A decorative ensemble with an authentic look, suitable for collectors, interior decoration, or as a basis for further restoration or study.

The lot includes, among other items:

- Large red-copper coal scuttle or hearth bucket with a wavy rim and a porcelain handle with blue decoration.
- Slender copper/brass pouring jug with a gracefully shaped spout and handle.
- Blue-and-white ceramic vase with rich floral decoration.
- Copper cache pot or plant holder.
- Small copper pot with decorative lion-head handles.
- Copper lidded pot.
- Copper cup/cylindrical holder.
- Small round metal tray with chain.
- Small copper object with a hinged lid.
- Fabric/suede pouch filled with a large lot of old 1-cent coins (Dutch guilders) (untested).

The objects show normal wear and age-related signs such as patina, oxidation, scratches, discolorations and small dents, in keeping with their age and use. The coins have not been sorted or examined for year, origin or rarity and are sold as pictured.
