DESCRIPTION:

This original work by Ralf Altrieth unfolds a universe where human figures, gazes, animals and signs seem to emerge spontaneously before blending back into the composition. Each element appears as an obvious occurrence, with no imposed narrative, leaving the viewer free to project their own story onto it.

The gesture is direct, lively, without artifice. The broad fields of color dialogue with straight lines, defined contours and rich pictorial material that give the whole work an energy that is immediately perceptible.
