– Two doves on a flowering branch – Italian porcelain – 45.5 cm high / 21 cm wide.
Magnificent and elegant sculpture in Italian Capodimonte porcelain, depicting two white doves delicately perched on a flowering branch adorned with roses in relief.
This work perfectly illustrates the know-how of Capodimonte's Italian workshops, renowned for the finesse of their modeling, the richness of details, and the quality of their glaze. The meticulously carved feathers, the hand-painted relief flowers, and the base decorated with gold motifs confer great elegance to this piece.
The bottom bears the famous Capodimonte mark with crown and the letter "N", accompanied by the inscription "Made in Italy", attesting to its Italian origin.
