Under the name BABYBORN, the Atelier explores the vein of pop surrealism and Lowbrow: large eyes, dreamy childhoods, antique toys and an unsettling sweetness, in a refined style inherited from the masters.
BABYBORN gathers images of children and creatures captured in a dreamlike in-between — tender and grave, cute and unsettling — where childhood nostalgia meets a quiet strangeness. The through-line: a dialogue between classic painting and contemporary pop imagination, where the painting material enhances and transforms the printed image.
