Polyphon - Disc music box - Germany - 1850-1900 - Polyphon with coin drop

Offered (from a private collection) is a beautiful Polyphon disc music box with coin insertion. Made by the Polyphon company around 1895 in Leipzig, Germany. This Polyphon has a complete comb, i.e., no missing teeth. The playing discs have a diameter of 40 cm, of which 8 are included. The walnut cabinet measures 55 x 48 x 25 cm and features beautiful inlay on the lid. On the inside is an original image of playing cherubs.
