Historic Solid Silver 0.900 Pocket Watch "Favor" – Völklingen Steelworks Presentation 1933Description:A rare and historically significant solid silver mechanical pocket watch made by the German brand Favor (Schätzle & Tschudin, Pforzheim), presented in 1933 as a long-service award.Material & Hallmarks: Solid 0.900 silver case, authenticated with the official German imperial hallmarks (Crown and Crescent Moon).Historical Engraving: The inner dust cover (cuvette) features a beautiful original engraving dedicated to "Peter Stein" for his faithful service at the famous Röchling Steelworks in Völklingen (Röchling'sche Eisen- u. Stahlwerke) between 1908–1933. The Völklingen Ironworks is today a famous UNESCO World Heritage site.Dial: Beautiful white enamel dial featuring a military/railway style 24-hour display (inner 1-12 numerals and outer 13-24 track). Signed "FAVOR".Hands: Original elegant rose-gold tone hands with a small sub-seconds dial at 6 o'clock.Movement: Very clean, original German mechanical movement with a frosted gold finish and jewel bearings.Condition: Very good visual condition for its age. The dial and crystal are clean, the historical inscription is perfectly legible, and the silver case shows a genuine vintage patina.
