In “Weightless Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, obvious. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and what is stable, while the chromatic play—with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows—intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
