Rarest souvenir bag released by Hermès in 1997 for the exhibition "A Journey to Wonderland." Made in transparent vinyl (PVC), this bag faithfully replicates the silhouette of the Kelly, one of the brand's most iconic models, while existing as a purely promotional and event-specific item, distinct from conventional leather goods.
Historical context
This type of vinyl bag was distributed in limited editions at Hermès exhibitions and events in the 1990s, a practice that the house has since discontinued. Its rarity and ephemeral nature make it highly sought after by collectors of Hermès objects and luxury house memorabilia, far beyond the secondary market for leather goods.

Overall condition
Excellent condition for a vinyl piece nearly 30 years old. The transparent vinyl remains supple, with no general yellowing or major cracking on the bag body. A few micro-folds and light signs of normal use are visible on the seams and corners (see macro photos), consistent with the piece’s age and storage, but not affecting the structure or the readability of the clasp and handle. The inner tissue paper is folded but intact, with no major tears.
