For cat lovers, a lovely cat painting with a lively brushwork by the Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt.

Graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts Maastricht (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as the signature name and is known for her “kimono series,” inspired by the work of G.H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings in which old masters, sometimes combined with personal elements (cat, painting supplies and small figures and animals), form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a visible thick brushstroke. She also moves between detailed and fantastical works and loose, sketch-like paintings.
