Description from the seller
This set is a collectible series of four laminated-silver bas-reliefs, commonly mounted on a wooden base and presented in a silverware gift box. Each of the four silver plates represents one of the four seasons, depicted through its characteristic flora and the earthly fruits: Spring (top right): Spring flowers just starting to bloom. Summer (top left): Sunflowers and ripe ears of wheat. Autumn (bottom right): Bunches of grapes with grape leaves and pomegranates. Winter (bottom left): Holly branches with the typical berries.
Product Details
Material: Embossed silver plates (often 925 silver laminated) fixed to a dark wood backing (rosewood or mahogany).
Use: They can be used as elegant wall or table panels (thanks to a small foot on the back). In some cases, the gift box itself serves as a display case.
Origin: Typical artisanal Italian silversmith craftsmanship, very widespread from the 1980s onward as a prestigious gift, a significant wedding favor, or to celebrate anniversaries.
