Biography
Walter Dräyer (1911–2000) was a prominent Swiss photographer, who with his sensitive artist portraits and studio photographs documented the Swiss and European art scene for decades. His photographic oeuvre includes portraits of numerous important artists – including Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Andy Warhol and Bernhard Luginbühl – and is regarded as a valuable documentary record of 20th-century art history.
