Vase - Glass, Brass - Gilded brass filigree

An antique glass baluster vase made of topaz- or amber-colored glass with a detailed brass filigree mount, in the style of Frits Heckert. This specific design was patented in 1884 and is probably designed by Adolf Heyden for the renowned German glass manufacturer Fritz Heckert in Petersdrf (Silezie) nowadays Poland.
Dating: This specific technique in which hollow glass was blown into a brass filigree mount was patented in 1884. The vase dates from the late 19th century (ca. 1884–1895). Material: Topaz- or amber-colored glass with an openworked metal mount, enriched with colored glass 'jewels' (stones).
The vase is in good used condition, a flea-bite on the rim, and a few of the red stones have damage. The vase is unsigned.
